Notes

Notes are used to communicate important information about racks, railcars and StockCards. Any user can make a note. Notes can be made from the list screen (shown below) by clicking new; from the rack screen by clicking '+' in the notes section; from 'railcars' by clicking '+' in the notes section; and from 'StockCards' by clicking '+' in the notes section.

When creating a note from a rack, StockCard, or railcar; a dialogue box will pop up and ask you to input your comment. As soon as you press enter or click ok, the note will instantly be added to the record you are working on. Selecting the 'alert' checkbox will cause this note to appear whenever someone tries to do anything related to the rack/StockCard/railcar in question.

If you create a note from the notes list screen you must enter the rack number, railcar number, and/or StockCard number in addition to the steps taken above.
