Main vs. Inquiry Windows

The main user interface of Tallys contains two windows called the main and inquiry windows. These windows contain identical functionally and are provided so that you may accomplish two things at once. For example if you are in the middle of a "Tally IN", in the main window, and a customer calls you can query for the data they are looking for using the inquiry window without losing your current work.
Switch between these windows by clicking on the one you'd like to make use of or by pressing Ctrl + Tab on your keyboard.
Neither of these windows can be closed (clicking the 'X' in the top right to close the window does nothing). This prevents accidental data loss.
These windows can be moved by clicking and dragging their respective title bars. The title bar is typically a blue bar at the top of a window in any Microsoft Windows OS.
These windows can be minimized or hidden within Tallys, or maximized (stretched to fill as much room in Tallys as possible). These adjustments are made by Clicking the "-" symbol on the top right to minimize or the adjacent square to maximize.
